Love It. Craft It.

We have been working on stock
and display ideas like crazy,
for holiday market season.

This coming weekend, you can find us at
Love It. Craft It. at Heritage Hall on
Main St. in Vancouver.
The market runs from 11:00am to 6:00pm on
Saturday November 14th, 2015.

Here are some sneak peeks as to what to expect from us.

Craftsmanship

We love the thrill of the hunt!
And part of the thrill is discovering and identifying
beautiful vintage silverware patterns.
The older the better!
You just can't beat the craftsmanship and details of the past.
Pictured above is Jasmine, Joan, Evening Star and Rose.
Mystery surrounds as one is still left to be identified.

Hand-Stamped Bridal Place Settings

We are pleased to let you know that we are now offering
our six piece bridal place setting as a
whimsical mismatched set,
in addition to our popular heirloom set.

We come across such a variety of beautiful
patterns but often only a few matching.
We love the shabby-chic feel of combining patterns.
The perfect touch of vintage for any wedding.
 Something old perhaps?

The patterns pictured in the photos above include
'Plume' 1935, 'Park Lane' 1936, 'Cotillion' 1937,
'Ambassador' 1919, 'Coronation' 1936, 'Lovelace' 1936,
'Enchantress' 1937, 'Old English' & 'Revelation' 1953.

Creating a Canvas

So it is proving more challenging than I thought to be
posting more regularly on here.
I am in the habit of loading pics more often via
Oh well, I am here now so here we go.

We are finally going to tackle the home office in May!
I have moved both boys into one bedroom and will be transforming the other bedroom into an organized, inspirational space.
My dining room has been overrun for far too long!

We have narrowed it down to the paint colors above.
I am leaning towards the Mauve Morning on the right as the room is north-facing and reads cooler.

The room is going to be feminine with a touch of glam.
White painted antique cabinets, a vintage farm table as a desk, a vintage crystal chandelier and of course lots of vintage silver.

Radiant Orchid

We recently needed a re-stock of our letterpress
business cards.
We thought we would have some fun
and change up the color a little bit.
Erin at Sunlit Letterpress was happy to accommodate our request.

Vintage Love

Re-envisioning the graceful vintage objects
that we find doesn't always mean
that we alter their appearance.

We often use items in different ways
than originally designed.
They are still purposeful,
but visible regularly for all to enjoy.

The removable handle from the lid
of a vintage silver chafing dish
makes a stunning paperweight.

An antique cut crystal and sterling silver salt cellar,
with tiny spoon, become a pretty way
to keep beads and crystals sorted and contained.

This antique coaster of cut glass and
sterling silver makes a beautiful catch-all.

At "...and then again" we have a passion
for giving captivating vintage pieces a new vitality,
while honouring their legacy.
And we love connecting these delightful items
with people who share this appreciation.

Gorgeous with that little black dress.

bead for extra sparkle at $22.

Yuletensils

Well, it has been a while since we last posted.
We apologize for our absence but promise it has been worth the wait.

We are so pleased to say that you can now purchase '...and then again' products at Barefoot Contessa. Headed there very soon are our Christmas items seen in the photos below.

Our hanging bud vase reinterpreted as a Christmas ornament.

Charming heritage souvenir spoons. Amazing detail on each one.

Reworked flatware handles hanging from black satin ribbon now resemble icicles.

Large teardrop, vintage chandelier crystals with a little embellishment.

Perfect for your tree, we also wanted to show that these ornaments can be used in other ways as well.

Create a one of a kind heirloom wreath.

Gift beautiful presents.

So precious, the recipient will want to admire it before they unwrap it.

We had so much fun putting together our little photo shoot and hope it inspired you to add a little bit of vintage, handmade and local to your Christmas.
