Recent Custom Work

I thought I would post a few pictures of
recent custom work we have done.
I don't blog often as I find it quicker and easier
to pop a photo up on Facebook or Instagram.
But for those of you not on all the
social media outlets, I will share some photos here ;)

Please join us over on Instagram and Facebook

Airloom Art Pt. 2

As promised in the previous post,
here are three more styles of our 'Airloom Art'.

I love the idea of using the piece pictured above,
in a nursery or a pretty powder room.
When the light hits the crystals, it really sparkles.

The clapper of this last windchime is made from the bottom of a wine goblet. The windchime itself is a chafing dish and allows space for flowers to be laid in the top.
This piece is quite gorgeous as unique wedding décor.

Which piece is your favorite?

Airloom Art

We are very pleased to share with you
photos of our first batch of 'Airloom Art'.

These wind-chimes had been on our 'to-do' list
for awhile now, and we love how our first collection turned out.

We created each piece using a combination of silver-plate hollow-ware, vintage chandelier crystals, Swarovski crystals and even a little bit of gemstones and copper.
They are all made by hand and one of a kind.

In celebration we held a little photo-shoot in the backyard.
We used a great collection of vintage linens that my mother-in-law had given me to create a romantic tee-pee setting. While we showcased the hanging art outdoors, they certainly look captivating indoors as well.

We will share our other three styles in the next post.
Thank you for stopping by! And yes they are available for purchase.

Vintage Love

Re-envisioning the graceful vintage objects
that we find doesn't always mean
that we alter their appearance.

We often use items in different ways
than originally designed.
They are still purposeful,
but visible regularly for all to enjoy.

The removable handle from the lid
of a vintage silver chafing dish
makes a stunning paperweight.

An antique cut crystal and sterling silver salt cellar,
with tiny spoon, become a pretty way
to keep beads and crystals sorted and contained.

This antique coaster of cut glass and
sterling silver makes a beautiful catch-all.

At "...and then again" we have a passion
for giving captivating vintage pieces a new vitality,
while honouring their legacy.
And we love connecting these delightful items
with people who share this appreciation.
